Backing Up Rhythymbox files

To back up my files in Rhythymbox. There are 2 examples I have found on the web showing to back up by running:

Code:
tar cvf rythmbox-backup.tar .local/share/rhythmbox .gnome2/rhythmbox .gnome2/accels/rhythmbox .cache/rhythmbox .gconf/apps/rhythmbox
The other example is the same yet they are both from 2010. I do not have .gnome2

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1623147

Here are all of my Home hidden folders

Code:
.
..
.adobe
.audacity-data
.bash_history
.bash_logout
.bashrc
.cache
.compiz
.config
.dbus
.dmrc
.dosbox
.gconf
.gimp-2.8
.gstreamer-0.10
.ICEauthority
.icons
.kde
.local
.macromedia
.mozilla
.pki
.prboom
.profile
.pulse-cookie
.Skype
.steam
.steampath
.steampid
.thumbnails
.VirtualBox
.wine
.wine-browser
.wine-pipelight
.Xauthority
.xsession-errors
.xsession-errors.old
Are there any other folders Im missing where to back up Rhythymboxs?

Also do I have to compress the files or is that preferable? Lastly with this command where are my files being sent? I would like them to be sent to:

/media/<user>/<device>
