Post Back to previous Linux Shell Status.

Hello all.
How are you?
I use "SSH" command for connect to a server remotely but when I close the console and use "SSH" again it show me new console, How can I back to Previous console? I mean is that when I use a command like "Yum install gedit" and close console and use "SSH" again, I can't see the previous result.

Thank you.

did you exit that previous console? So that is now closed, not accessible any more.
If you want to keep the remote session you need to disconnect instead of closing that, but ssh is not able to do that.

Not entirely true - search "using screen with ssh".
