Ayee yaeee floppy drive

Does anyone know how to make RH9 save to a floppy AND ACTUALLY PUT THE FILE ON THE PHYSICAL FLOPPY DISK. (as opposed to just saving to /mnt/floppy and not putting the file on the floppy disk at all)???
Thanks a million.

you have to mount the floppy.
if in kde, you find the mount stuff by double clicking on
a floppy icon or right clicking and reading the options.
you must unmount before you take the disk out.

you can also in a terminal
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
then
umount /mnt/floppy

I fiind that when I mount a floppy, in either of Mandrake 9.0 or SUSE 8.0, the fdd is identified, the files are found, and then when I try to pull off the files, the darn thing's just disappear. I mean - how the heck can the file no longer be accessible if you can recognise the file from the directory search. Darn difficult to figure out for me - what stuff do you guy's want to see - the FSTAB (File Sill Things And Buggary??)
