Automounting SMB

We are looking at going to Linux on the desktop.. (How can corperations save a buck so VP's can get bigger bonuses..)
I need to be able to automount windows (SMB) drives on a Linux box.
I know you can just use -o username=whatever,password=whatever..
also i am aware you can use an authen file.. however those 2 options do not provide for our access policies that require you to change your password every 5 mintues.

We are using a product from BMC Software called Control-SA that will syncronize all your passwords.. So in effect i can gaurentee the user's password is the same as their unix password.

How can mount a drive using -o username=DOMAIN/USER,password=LINUXPassword

Is there
1) some prewritten startup xwindows automount program that will ask for a password
2) a way to reroute the linux password into the smbmount without having it static in a file

I am open to suggestions and ideas. Thank you
Neal
