automounter question

Hi all - I am running RHEL5.3 on a machine, which is also served by my yp (NIS) server (a Sun machine). One of the NIS maps is auto.opt (/opt). So, I want my Linux machine to NOT mount this over the present/local /opt partition - which it is doing now. How can I make it NOT automount this? I need to keep the automounter running as users need /home.

All autofs map files are noted in /etc/auto.master, so remove (or comment) it out from there http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_boo...ig-autofs.html
