Automatic start of program
Hello,
For my own user, I would like Red Hat starts automatically a program when I log on. Is there a kind of autoexec.bat (sorry, this comes from a previuos live when I used Windows) in Linux linked to a specific profile? Thanks for your help, Vincent |
well that's not what autoexec does... it runs on boot, not on login... but you want programs to start on a login session, which would be /home/you/.bashrc or do you want it when you actually load Xwindows (kde / gnome etc...)? that would be entries in /home/you/.xsession
