Automatic RedHat booting
When i turn on my linux box it goes straight to the dos-like enviroment. Then i have to boot from there. Is there anyway that i can get it to boot into redhat automatically. I've been trying to figure it out for a while. any suggestions?
Thanks |
dos-like? Do you mean a linux command line interface?
If so then you just need to edit /etc/inittab and change the initdefault line from 3 to 5. |
it is already set to 5
