Automatic "mount" procedure-How?

I 'd like my cd-rom devices mount automatically, but that doesn't happen especially when i'm logged in as "root".
I've searched and found out that i had to edit the "fstab" , so i decided to delete the "noauto" command for my cd-roms. However, when i restarted he PC nothing had actually changed and i had to do the mounting.

Replace the 'noauto' with 'auto'. You can find all the options in 'man fstab'.
