does anyone know how to disable automatic login to ubuntu account (live session account) in kubuntu 8.10 live usb persistence...

i have tried uncheck the automatic login checkbox in the login manager setting.
but after i reboot, nothings change,
and when i open login manager setting, the checkbox is checked, back to normal,,,
how do i fix it

I think that you would need to remaster the original iso image for that.

What you want is called Portable Linux: Google "Portable Linux rudd-o.com" without the quotes. The first hit is what you want (apparently the mods don't want me to post hyperlinks so now you have to google stuff).
