Question "Automatic" is only option for image quality when printing.

Hi, when I go to print, I'm not given image quality choices such as Normal, Draft, Best, Hi-Res Photo and Fast Draft. Resoluton says automatic and when I click on that it gives me all kinds of choices like 300 x 300, 600 x 600, and thirty more. Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Canon MP 280 printer. Thanx in advance

It doesn't seem to releated to OS, but printer itself.

Did you check printer's maunal and photo quality section? May be your printer do not have such preferences, or it may have different way to do this.
