gives me the same error

Error: - /var/cache/yum/base/header.info cannot be found.
Please ask your sysadmin to update the headers on this system.

anymore suggestions ?

yes...check out www.google.com
two days you come in here and ask questions then when people try to help you you keep saying "anymore suggestions". Yesterday was debian, today is fedora, and you said you wanted to learn linux. Do a google search for your errors and read the results. If you want to learn, you have to put forth some effort as well.

ouch that was somewhat harsh.

you are right i can check google.com which i am doing trust me.. but i think its always better to ask someone who has more experience in this time of stuff then spend hours searching for someone who has hopefully asked the same question as me. I am trying to learn linux and if im asking questions on a forum or searcing on google i think im learning both ways.

I thought perhaps coming to a forum that is called linuxquestions.org i wouldnt get criticised on stupid questions i asked.

Anyway back on topic

If i download and install glibc-2.3.5-10.3.i686.rpm shouldnt that fix my problem im having trying to install binutils ?
