auth.log cron message postings

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep these cron messages from being posted to the auth.log?

Try this simple mantra: what you don't log you don't know about. Log files in /var/log are "raw" sources, an audit trail for when you need it. They aren't there to "pretty print" information. So if you want that better 'grep -v something /path/log'.
