audio/midi
Hi everyone
My wife sent me a Valentines day card and when I click on the link, it says I need a plugin to play audio/midi. I then click ok and it brings me to a Netscape plugin finder. I search for the type and it says no plugin found. I think this is music for the card she sent me. Anyone have any ideas how I get RedHat Linux 8.0 to play the music with the card? It plays normal sound. I have a sound that plays on startup and it sounds fine. Thanks for the help. Jim Macdonald. |
what is the file type?
what is the required plugin name? you may need "plugger" which is a plugin for linux browsers which adds support for loads of things including midi/audio plugger can be found here http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger.html hope this helps |
Hi salparadise.
To try to answer your questions. 1. Unknown. It is one of those cards with music attached to it. 2. Unknown. All it says for the plugin is audio/midi. And when I go to the netscape plug-in page, and search under midi and Linux, nothing comes up. 3. Plugger is installed and running on my system. Thanks for the help. I am still stumped as to what to do. I installed a midi player, or tried (it didn't install) and still nothing. Thanks again Jim |
