Unhappy Audigy2 soundproblem in Suse 9.1

Who knows what do do ? I have an Audigy2 soundcard installed to my Suse 9.1 and there is a very disturbing sound from my speaker even when I not listening to music. It sounds like something is cooking or boiling water. It? not loud but very disturbing.

Yours sincerly / ronronson

is the card configured and working? if so, have you tried using a mixer and adjusting your volumes? you can get feedback or noise issues if the microphone, or line in are set too high.
