Have you checked that your mixer volumes are up? By default the volumes are set to either mute or the lowest volume setting.

yep I checked that already.... nothing on mute, turned it all the way up. nothing. Thats the *only* thing I can think of is to remove everything and start over.... i wont get to mess with it till later tonight anyways, i got some work to do yet
