attribute


just a quick one, can anyone tell me what the sticky attribute does on folder permissions? what does it mean?

I'm not sure, but I think it has to do with permissions: in a folder with the sticky bit set, you can only delete things that you own, not things owned by other users, even if you have write permission on the directory. I don't know at all how this applies to modifications.
