Attaching a doc document
 

Hey guys i'm viewing a word.doc document, problem i'm asked to either open from the location or save the ffile.Know i want to open the document from the location,i'm then asked to choose the application to open it with.I'm running red hat 8.0 and i have openoffice.org.Where is openoffice.org located you know like the way in windows i would go to program files/office/word/ so that i can associate the application to open all word documents?

Most of the time its going to either be in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin but it can all depend on how you installed it.

Try searching for the command to open it with using either find or locate... etc.
