Atime updates not implemented yet - disabling them

After compiling the 2.6.8.1 kernel with NTFS support (write support included), I noticed that I got the error messages Atime updates not implemented yet - Disabling them, after the 2 NTFS partitions were mounted at boot time (C and D in Windows). The partitions are still visible from Linux, but I was wondering what that meant and how I could correct it. Any ideas?
