ATI Driver rpm install
I went to the ATI Homepage I chose to download the Linux Driver for a ATI Radeon 9600. Then a page opened up and I had to select my xfree86 version. Having done this, I downloaded the rpm package. It was all going fine, but when I was about to install the package, it said in the description "Display_driver_files_for_the_ATI_Radeon_8500,_9700,_Mobility_M9_and_the
FireGL_8700/8800,_E1,_Z1/X1_graphics_accelerators." What the hell is this? Doesnt it support the 9600? Has anyone made any experience with it? It would be very helpful! |

That's weird. You sure you got the correct xfree86 version? You sure got the most recent ati drivers (3.2.8)???
