Athero AR242x 802. is not working on centos 5.3


hi, i m new in linux,i've installed centos 5 onmy laptop asus x51r.I have Atheros AR242x 802.PCI.wireless lan card.Although its shows in Device manager,But i cant connect internet through wireless.Please anybody give me solution.
