Asus ul80jt 64 bit notebook

Hello, I'm brand new to Linux. I would like to enable touch pad scrolling if possible. I'm also having trouble enabling my built-in webcam. Thanks in advance for info. JP

Solved my issues. Using Linux Mint 17 Quiana, Cinnamon 64 bit. I'm literally a first week user and I like it a lot. I bought a used laptop on ebay to experiment with. It's in dual boot with Windows 7 Home Premium. Graphics card har hardware issues(I'm pretty sure, anyway). tried to install Nividia divers/software. The guy I bought it from told me not to, but I did it anyway and had to reinstall windows clean along with Linux. Everything is working pretty good. I even got my Tv tuner to work. Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks to everyone who replied and thank you Linux.

Please tell us what distro you're using so that we have a starting point.
Most distros have ready-made solutions for configuring these things but the best solution depends on the distro.
