Assigning static private IP address to Virtual machine (Vmware)

Hello,

I've got vmware workstation installed on Ubuntu, and within this I've set up 3 different centos virtual machines (all used for testing/learning purposes).

For these three virtual machines, I wanted to ask if it's possible to have a static private ip address for each of them?

So something like;

vm1 - 192.168.20.9
vm2 - 192.168.20.10
vm1 - 192.168.20.11

How would I go about doing this where those ip's are assigned to each of the vm's everytime I start vmware?

Just configure each CentOS system with a static IP address. VMware simply provides the virtual machines with a network interface; the address configuration is entirely up to the VM OS.

If you are not already using a bridge adapter, you will need to set the VM to use one.

Not sure you need a bridged adapter. See the above link for using other vm net numbers.
