You need to check with Aspire on the advantages. But you should never flash your bios unless you need it for some type of function(s) that my have been added. Usually Bios updates my allow a later process etc. So my advice and well as mose pc manufactures don't flash your bios if nothing is wrong.

Remeber if its not broken don't fix it
