What EDDY1 said, you're going to need to install a new OS. What you have is a machine that shipped with a version of Linux heavily customised so it's basically an appliance. You turn it on, press the button for the function you want, use it a bit, turn it off. I'm sure the vendor has long since stopped bothering to provide any updates to it.
There used to be some good documentation for Ubuntu on these machines but it hasn't been updated for years. The best I can find just now in terms of suggestion on what to install is this Arch wiki page
which as with most Arch wiki pages looks like a really good resource. A bit daunting if you've never install Linux though.
