ASCII ISO8859 file location?
Can someone tell me where I can find the ASCII iso 8859 file locations?
I'd like to make some symbols of my own. I'm creating my own hexadecimal symbols, because the current ones are horrible, so I only need 15 symbols. Perhaps this is a loaded question, as I understand iso / UTF-8 is a complex issue. Can someone also tell me if iso8859-12 is free for me to use? |
See if it is useful link for you.

If you mean that you need to add characters to a font, you just need to install Fontforge. If you mean something else, then I didn't understand you :-(

Thanks Eklavya, now I know which codes are free for me to use.

I found some tables in usr/share/i18n/supported But they weren't images that I could edit. When I "man ASCII" it tells me about character codes but not where the graphical table is located, perhaps I'll need to even use some Assembly Language to manipulate them, I dunno? (they might not be graphical tables but some Machine code) |
