asap

Your Linux server must be statically assigned an IP address in the segment 192.168.0.0/24 with the Windows client being able to communicate with the server. A DHCP server should be running on your Linux box leasing addresses to the local segment

hahahaha, no. We aren't here to do your homework for you. And we're certainly not doing anything "asap" for you. You didn't even say please or thank you.

Thumbs down Ouch!

Dear shaik aseemuddin!

You seriously screwed up as soon as possible. Anyway, I will assume you just don't know better. In that case you might want to have a look at this. Once I see you really try to keep that advice in mind, I am willing to assist in your problems dealing with DHCP and IP configuration. I will be back later that evening to see if you deserve my attention.

If I misjudged your intention and you in fact do know better then just STFW and RTFM.

Regards, Heraton

OK, it was a poor post, but there's no need for everyone to pile on. Thanks.
