Ark unable to open RAR?
 

I recently tried to open a extract a .rar file, the last time I did this was when i used suse, and i think u just clicked on it, however two years has passed and i am now using slackware, i have just downloaded a .rar file and for some reason i cannot open it there appears to be nothing available to deal with it, does anybody know of a linux app that can extract rar's or does anybody Why the F*** i can't open this anyway

You need to install unrar and then ark will be able to open rar files.

Yes ark was looking for unrar I guess it must have already been installed on suse, thanks for such a speedy response
