Archlinux issues-problems after install!
 

Good morning gang-I installed the archlinux 2009 core x86_64 the other day and I just started this morning trying to get the rest of the stuff I need including gnome,x-window,etc.
Problem is-I type in pacman --sync --refresh , as per the website.
However-it says ftp access denied, etc.
Why is this?
How do I configure it to access the internet?
It had no problem accessing the net during install-so wha's the issue now?

Ive tried Archlinux about 3-4 months ago.Nice distro..but I always seem to come back to debian..Might try it again in future.But anyway..did you follow the Beginners Guide to installing Arch??Can you.
If you can connect..maybe it is a issue with the server you choose..try selecting another server in mirrorlist.You did choose another server??
Also maybe you didnt setup things right..Maybe check out your
/etc/hosts.deny and /etc/hosts.allow
