Hello, when I use aptitude to remove a package I first go in as non root
so I can see what will be removed without causing damgage and during that process it says "nothing will be saved unless I'm root and stop all apt based running programs" my question is how do you stop all running apt based programs. It doesn't seem that being root would automatically stop them.

# aptitude remove -s <packagename>
