apt-get on SuSE 9.2 Pro and 9.1 Personal

I've installed apt-get package management for SuSE 9.2 -- mainly because I don't like YaST, it's slow and the search process grows tedious at times -- on my laptop and it works flawlessly, but I'm having an issue.

I installed apt-get for SuSE 9.1 Personal on a machine at work. It went through and grabbed all the updates without a problem. The issue arose when I tried to upgrade the MozillaFirefox package from the PR to the full bonified 1.0.6. It saw the update but instead of installing it, held it back.

I've tried doing apt-get --upgrade --force and apt-get --upgrade --ignore-held

But it still won't upgrade the pacakge. Any suggestions or insight?
