apt-get gets downloading errors

When I use Xandros (which is Debian based), after downloading Wine for a few minutes, it says it couldn't read the archive or header... (something like that), and then i would need to type out apt-get install wine and it would resume from where it left off. (By the way, i am using the correct settings in sources.list)

1) try downloading it from another mirror (edit sources.list).
2) What do you use to download (apt-get, synaptic, aptitude)? Try another one.
3) post a log of your download attempt(s) and sources.list

Well, because i used apt-get i am about to try Xandros Networks (It's really apt-get/synaptic in a friendly program)...

This is what in sources.list:

deb http://xnv3.xandros.com/3.0/pkg xandros3.0-xn main contrib non-free
deb http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/ binary/
deb-src http://wine.sourceforge.net/apt/ source/

The first one is Xandros's own update server, while the other two is for wine.

I'll tell you soon if it works.

Well, it didn't work and it never tried to resume

All it said was:

Code:
STOP Some files failed to download.
Done.
I'm on dialup by the way and i'm thinking that it could have been responsible...

Well, i'm back to Square 1.

Please somebody out there help!

here's my sources.list; try downloading wine from one of those places--if you succeed, your errors are probably not because you're on dialup.

I tried all of them.

They all failed.

I'm trying my mother's connection (broadband) and see if it works...

while you're at it, could you post a few lines of apt-get output context -- that is, ~5 lines before the error message + the error itself.
