try here

http://forums.xandros.com/viewtopic.php?t=708

set a text file up in /etc/apt
name this file preferences

copy and paste these details in to this text file and save

Package: *
Pin: release a=stable
Pin-Priority: 999

Package: *
Pin: release a=testing
Pin-Priority: 777

Package: *
Pin: release a=unstable
Pin-Priority: 555

then goggle for apt pinning and read up on how it works
