Application to make a catalogue for my CDs
 

Hey guys, I'm on the verge of leaving Windows forever. The only thing that I couldn't find in Linux is a program to keep a list of all my Music/Movies/Games CDs. I used in Linux Whereisit, what could I use in Linux ? Any sugestions ?

I use JuK, for kde.

it's pretty limited ... can it catalogue also movies and files ?

Why dont you try to use your winblowz app with wine? maby it can work.

I second the Tellico recommendation - even if it is intended for KDE.
Back when it was called Bookcase (which I do not understand why they changed), I used it in an office for document templates. It is actually very flexible.
A friend of mine recommended Gaby for this, too - it is supposed to be a bit lighter.

Well tellico is great but not that great. I just want an application that adds all the files from a CD/DVD and puts them in a database. I just couldn't do that with Tellico or Gaby. Am I missing something ?

Any other sugestions ?

Just for reference, in case someone stumbles upon this on a search: The export options of Tellico are extensive.
