Apache root folder access

I have a new installation of fedora 10 on my machine, I have also in stalled Apache, Mysql and php. i have also enabled samba so that I can file share between my Widows server and linux. I am trying to tranfer files from the windows server to my apache root folder var/http/www but I keep getting a permission error, how can I grant access to this folder.
