Apache restart error


Hi All,

Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'PerlSwitches', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.
...fail!


I got this error message to restart apache2
i am using apache2 in ubonto,

And what's on line 1 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf ?
And how did it get there?

Hi Tinkster,
This is two line in my local httpd.conf file

PerlSwitches -I/var/www/html/bugzilla -I/var/www/html/bugzilla/lib -w -T
PerlConfigRequire /var/www/html/bugzilla/mod_perl.pl

On the face of it, you haven't enabled mod_perl.

Code:
LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so
or similar. See http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/user...bling_mod_perl
