apache configuration

Hi, I've difficulty in understanding Apache's directive. Here's my problem:

1) "Port 80" and "Listen 80". Can I have either one?

2) Question 1 against NameVirtualHost abc:80. If I set the virtual host, do I have to set as in question 1?

Thank you

port 80 is default, you can set more than one port but if you want a normal web server on port 80 leave it as is

it is connecting to port 80 but it also needs to be told to listen to it.
