Apache cgi scripts!

Help!!! :newbie: here.

I have installed Apache during Mdk setup and all was well untill I tested the cgi scripts pre-installed on it.

The server just said that permission to load the cgi was denied! I've tried looking through the httpd.conf and the commonhttpd.conf but no luck what so ever. I think it's just a permission error so could anyone please help me out!

Please!

Try setting the script to chmod 0777. If that still doesn't work, check out:

There is a setting you need to make in your httpd config file. I don't recall exactly what you have to do. But will reply on Monday if you have not figured it out. I have apache running on my department server at work. Just have to look at the config file and will be able to help you more then...
