apache access log files


where to find old or archived apache access log files ,I am able to see only from the month of september nothing before,

all I see is this from /var/logs/httpd/

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2585765 Sep 15 03:21 access_log-20130915
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3621408 Sep 22 03:13 access_log-20130922
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root     245 Sep 22 03:14 error_log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root     321 Sep  1 03:38 error_log-20130901
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root     321 Sep  8 03:23 error_log-20130908
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root     321 Sep 15 03:22 error_log-20130915

how about my logs from january ? please advice.

how about my logs from january ? please advice.
Nothing to 'advice' about....either you have something to rotate your logs and keep archives or you don't... we don't know which. That's up to How you set the system up.

If you don't have backups or archives, you don't have those logs. simple.

by default apache logs rotate or archived or do I have to set it up ?

Was very clear in the first reply. Either you set up something to do this, or you don't get them rotated. Since you're the administrator DID YOU??? If you didn't', then (again), restore the file(s) you need from your backups.

The Apache documentation for log files is also easy to find:
