Any "Tweaks" in Suse?

Hey, what I want to know is are there any tweaks that would help Suse run faster or anything like that. For example, in Windows I would kill certain startup processes and would disable the prefetch. Any such things for Suse?

Thanks :)

You want it boot faster, or run faster?

If the last, and you are using KDE, turn off all the extras in KDE...eg. mouse over effects, show content while dragging and so on.

Have fun :)

One great tweak is to disable ipv6, if not using that.
Suse 10 comes with ipv6 enabled, and I can't understand why...

It doesnt really help the start-upprocess, but kde and firefox run faster
