Smile Any One working on NS2.31 under Ubuntu 12.04 (Cognitive Radio Netowork)

Hi all,

My Masters work is in CRN
I want to do some simulations of CRN in NS2.
My focus part is in the Network Layer (Routing).
I have gone through this forum. But no guidance till yet.
I have tried my hands installing NS 2.31 under Ubuntu Linux 12.04
I get different types of errors.I am in a mess.
Is there any proper documentation for installing NS 2.31 under Ubuntu.

Can I use NS 3 for simulations of CRN.
Please help.

Thanks in advance.

You have posted (essentially), the same question MULTIPLE times in different areas on LQ, and have hijacked other threads as well. Neither is a good thing. And if you're really working on your masters degree, and have not yet been able to do basic research using a tool like Google, I don't see how you made it this far. From a Google search for "simulate crn with ns3":

...and for NS2:
