any laptop?
 

can linux run on all new laptops. it seems from posts here and elsewhere laptops with the sis650 chipset have caused problems. are there some chipsets that are better than others for linux? if so what should i be looking out for?

ps mainly want to use laptop for word processing/internet but son't want to rule myself out of anything!
