Any good audio books to learn linux?
I am trying to make the switch to linux and have done so on my home pc. I am rarely home to use it, so i am not benifiting from daily use on it. I need to sharpen my skills before I can convert my work box. I have a 1.5 hr commute, so I would really love to start doing some good linux audio books. I have listened to a couple podcasts, but they dont really cover the nuts and bolts from start to finish, more just news type stuff. Does anyone have any good ideas?
Thanks all, jd |
Pretty much any linux video training can be used as audio only.
I really liked the learnkey linux plus training. It's really basic, and pretty old, but I love the guy who does them. It looks like you can't buy them - it's part of a certificate course, but you can download them from various torrent sites... That might be illegal though. Check for yourself. I have nothing to do with that! I'm innocent. The redhat certified training is also great. It's pretty boring but goes into more detail. Hope that helps. |
