Any favorite youtube channels for linux admin tutorials?
There are zillions of linux videos on youtube so I wanted to get some suggestions on youtube channels that have good useful tutorials for beginner to intermediate admin skills.
For example, I've been running linux for about 5 years and I have had some headless servers that I've built to do certain tasks yet I've never delved into cron jobs and I have very little real understanding of iptables and SElinux. I figure out things as I need them but I would like to start really getting under the hood and understanding a lot of the basics to grow into an advanced user. I know I can read documentation but honestly I am the type that really learns better when I have things explained and see it being done.
I'm about 75 through Jang's rhce study guide but new baby and exteme business at work haven't had time to dedicate to all the labs but I'll probably start that from the beginning
I would suggest using the YouTube search. I"ve found a number of good tutorials doing that (mostly about stuff not related to Linux). For example, a YouTube search for "crontab linux" turned up this:
