Antix 13 wants a password I don't have

I'm trying to install Antix 13 on an old Compaq, but when I clicked 'install' Antix asked for a password. I clicked on the blank box, but it rejected that. I tried other passwords too. My son finally tried 12345, and he said the request disappeared and now the old Compaq sounds like the Miami Herald newsroom in the late 50s. It been working that way for a good 45 minutes. Won't know if it's installing itself until sometime in the future. Nice little OS! Thanx, Rokytnji!

There must be a set password. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanx!

The demo user password is demo.
The root user password is root.

Beyond this I am not sure why the password 12345 would seem to do anything. Perhaps you have been trying on usb with persistence where you have to change the default passwords?
