Anti-Virus and Personal Firewall

Any good freeware open-source anti-virus and personal firewall to recommend?

Thanks and Regards,

Fedora Core 3 is flashing around a shiny new software firewall, maybe you could look if theres a port of that for your distro or upgrading if you're just playing with linux. You could also look at a hardware firewall, much nicer :) For ati-virus, I've heard good thigns about clamav but a Google search should help.

Clamav Anti-Virus is a great free open source Anti Virus.

I'll research and try to find you a Firewall...
