Another Mount fat32 question

Hi there,

I've tried searching en found a view good topics to help me out...
Problem: Nothing works!

My Distro = RH 8.0 and I compilled my kernel to read my FAT32 disk.
I altered the fstab and..... nope, nothing works...
sfdisk -l /dev/hdc

Disk /dev/hdc: 155061 cylinders, 16 heads, 63 sectors/track
Units = cylinders of 516096 bytes, blocks of 1024 bytes, counting from 0

Device Boot Start End #cyls #blocks Id System
/dev/hdc1 * 0+ 155060 155061- 78150712+ b Win95 FAT32
/dev/hdc2 0 - 0 0 0 Empty
/dev/hdc3 0 - 0 0 0 Empty
/dev/hdc4 0 - 0 0 0 Empty

so I check my disk:
dosfsck -v /dev/hdc
dosfsck 2.8 (28 Feb 2001)
dosfsck 2.8, 28 Feb 2001, FAT32, LFN
Currently, only 2 FATs are supported, not 191.

Can anybody tell me what this is????
191 FAT's???

What happens when you try to mount it manualy?
Let's say you have /mnt/windows dirctory when you want to mount /dev/hdc1.
mount -t vfat /dev/hdc /mnt/windows

I just started windows to defrag de disk.
I'll try that when i'm back in linux.

The most strange is that de disk (i see it now) is in NTFS, and linux say's its vfat....

If it's NTFS, you need NTFS support...Do you have it compiled?
