I fdisked and got rid of everything.. I tried to boot and no more error but it said Operating System Missing. So I did a boot with CD ROM support to install windows and it doesnt recognize my CD ROM drive. says cant find a driver MSCD001. any ideas?!:confused:

I think I figured it out.. Ill let ya know when in a day or two. If you have any ideas, post em here :P thx for the help guys

So you didn't follow the advice about fdisk /mbr in your previous thread. Had you done that with a M$ version of fdisk, it would have set out the correct code on the MBR for the BIOS and the bootstrap loader to find and to boot Windows.

The

fdisk /mbr

command is entered at a prompt when booting from a Win boot disk.

Now that you have fdisked the entire disk, find a Win boot disk (such as Win98) and use that to boot your machine with CD-ROM support. Then you can install Windoze from your CD, if you so desire. A Win boot disk can be found at http://www.bootdisk.com in a variety of flavors.

I tried to do fdisk /mbr but it didn't do anything. So I fdisked my whole drive. Ill try a bootdisk from there(even tho I have one and it still doesnt find the CDROM drive):(
