I was browsing a photo gallery page, where I uploaded to the web to test the plugin. While I was browsing, viber on the way(free calls & messages) I didn't answer it yet, then it suddenly hangs. I turned it off to restart and turned on and that is what happen?

After I turned on, Linux icon appeared and the last state of the window is ...ANDRIOD_, with black screen. Just up there. And I tried to restart again and again but nothings improved, its all the same.

Thanks in advance,
Jenie A.

not much help
you installed some unknown random plugin for some unknown "photo" website on some unknown version of android on some unknown hardware .

without knowing any information
only a guess

you installed a virus / "Trojan horse" and you are FUBAR'ed

"plugins" from CHINA are a known problem and they ALMOST always install a virus

there is not enough information to go on

we can only guess
normally a non booting computer is
- for a smartphone/tablet
a rootkit YOU ( the user) installed . random "apps" from untrusted sources are the #1 most common way.

or
a botched "upgrade" or kernel update

or
a hardware failure

or
the user edited system files and they messed it up

you might want to read the LQ tutorial on
" asking a question"
look at the top of this page
click on the link "tutorials"
http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...Ask_a_Question

all i know is you installed some plugin for some photo webpage
and now the tablet will not boot

I do not even know the make / model of the hardware nor the version of android that is installed

Who did you buy it from?
AT&T, Samsung , Google/Motorola, some big brick and mortar store ?

if it is under warranty send it back

one other possibility for this

--- might not apply here ---
it is a stolen tablet and the owner "bricked" it

It's my auntie's property. She just let me to troubleshoot what happen to her YouVersion(Bible). So I fixed it up and successfully recovered her bible apps.
And I didn't know where did she buy this table in LA.

Hi,

In the future you should consider 'Android Forum' for this type of equipment/issue. The 'Android Forum' is a sister forum of LQ.
