An os that will work straight away with a netgear wg111 v3?

I have a dell dimension e521 and that adapter, I tried to install the widows xp drivers for it from the disk using linux mint 7 to no avail. I don't really want to download a bunch of different distros and try out each one. Thanks in advance to any helpful replies.

Hi and welcome to LQ. Rather than switching distro, it's better to find a solution. Ndiswrapper supports this card. If you let us know which distro you use we can advise you on how to install the drivers.
