Smile An error occurred - no valid devices werefound on which to crate new file systems.


Dear all ,, Please help me ??
iam getting an error message like this while installing RedHat 4 enterprice edition.error is -An error occurred - no valid devices werefound on which to create new file systems.Please check your hardware for the cause of the problem

Have you some free space on the disk? Is any other OS already installed on this machine?

RHEL 4 does not recognize the Disk controller in your PC. Try RHEL 5 or a consumer distro like Fedora 11.x , Suse 11.x, Ubuntu 9.x which has better support for newer hardware.

RHEl uses Older Kernels that will not recognize a lot of the latest hardware
